GSC Stage 3 Power Package  Now we are getting somewhere once the first two stages are finished its time to look into having a reflashed ecu, there are many great places across the US and if you send an email to our sales team we will guide you to the right place. Now on to the power package! This is the time to dig into the motor. A set of Power-Division Camshafts are just what the doctor ordered. We include 1 set of cams and one box of ARP Head Studs. The head studs are necessary to keep your head from lifting causing a head gasket to go bad. We have cams available for the Evo VIII and EVO IX.

Now its time to make a decision we have 2 different options available to choose from for your evo 8 or evo 9 as far as camshafts. If you are following our power packages you will not need to make a choice the S1 cams will be perfect. here are the specs of the S-Series Cams.

Evo 8 S-Series Cam Specs

The S1 cams are designed for those with the stock turbo up to the GT30/50Trim. These cams will not sacrifice any bottom end loss over stock cams; nothing but gains and will promote faster spooling of the upgraded turbos. Gains of 30-55whp (depending on Turbo) have been seen by simply bolting the S1 cams in. Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft. Idle is slightly ruffer than stock.

Intake 268 Duration 10.50mm peak lift, 107 degree Centerline
Exhaust 266 Duration 10.50mm Peak Lift, 113 degree Centerline.

The S2 cams are designed for those with a GT35R-GT4067 Turbo. No low end power is lost vs the stock cams when used with the larger turbo. The S2 cams will show gains of 50-70whp over the stock cams and in some cases more in the higher RPMS. Great for 2.0L engines revving to 9000rpms or for Stroker motors revving to 8000rpms. The S2 Cams require upgraded valve springs (check out GSC’s Chro-Molly Retainers and single valve spring kit for a perfect upgrade to your valve train). Designed for a rev range of 4000-9000 RPMS(2.0L or 3000-8000 2.2L+), 500-700whp applications. Not suggested for smaller stock appearing turbo setups. S2 cams can run on Factory ECU with custom flashing.

Evo 9 S-Series Camshafts

The S1 cams are designed for those with the stock turbo up to the GT30/50Trim. These cams will not sacrifice any bottom end loss over stock cams; nothing but gains and will promote faster spooling of the upgraded turbos. Gains of 25-40whp (depending on Turbo) have been seen by simply bolting the S1 cams in. Designed for a rev range of 3000-8000rpms, these cams work well on the stock valve springs. 300-450whp camshaft.

Exhaust 266 Duration 10.30mm Peak Lift, 115 degree Centerline

The S2 cams are designed for those with a GT30-GT37 Turbo. No low end power is lost vs the stock cams when used with the larger turbo. The S2 cams will show gains of 40-50whp over the stock cams and in some cases more in the higher RPMS. Great for 2.0L engines revving to 9000rpms or for Stroker motors revving to 8000rpms. The S2 Cams require upgraded valve springs (check out GSC’s Chro-Molly Retainers and single valve spring kit for a perfect upgrade to your valve train).
